How Syncrowest Consulting collects, uses and looks after personal details through syncrowest.ie, including the enquiry form and the AI opportunity check.
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Who we are
Syncrowest Consulting is run by SyncroWest Limited, a private company limited by shares, registered in Ireland with company number 806424. Our registered office is Tullanacorra, Swinford, Co. Mayo, F12 WN67, Ireland.
SyncroWest Limited is the data controller for the personal details described in this notice. If you have any questions about it, or want to use any of your rights, please email hello@syncrowest.ie.
This notice covers this website. If you become a client, we will give you separate information about how we handle data during our work together.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form, we collect your name, job title, company, email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number, along with your agreement that we may contact you about your enquiry.
When you use the AI opportunity check, we collect your answers to the five questions, the result and time-saving estimate they produce, your name, business, whether your business exports outside Ireland, your email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number. We also record whether you ticked the box asking us to contact you about a call.
When you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything else you choose to include.
When you visit the site, our website provider, Netlify, keeps short-term technical records such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run the site and keep it secure. The fonts on this site are provided by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use your details and why
To reply to your enquiry. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to get in touch, as a step before any agreement to work together, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
To show your AI opportunity check result and keep a record of it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding which businesses are interested in our services and in being able to answer questions about the result.
To contact you about a call after the AI opportunity check, only if you tick the box. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing hello@syncrowest.ie.
To run the website and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website.
We will not add you to a newsletter or mailing list without your agreement, and we do not sell your details.
Who processes your details for us
We use a small number of service providers, who act on our instructions and must keep your details secure:
- Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and stores the details sent through our forms.
- Microsoft, which provides our email through Microsoft 365.
- Google, which provides the fonts used on this site.
Some of these providers are based in, or may process data in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We may also share details where the law requires it.
How long we keep your details
We keep enquiry and AI opportunity check details for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep the details we need for the length of our work together and for as long as the law requires afterwards, for example for tax records.
Your rights
Under data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal details we hold about you
- ask us to correct details that are wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your details
- ask us to restrict how we use your details, or object to how we use them
- ask for your details in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it
To use any of these rights, email hello@syncrowest.ie. We will reply within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland's data protection authority, at www.dataprotection.ie. We would welcome the chance to help with any concern first.
Automated results
The AI opportunity check works out your result automatically from your answers. It is an indicative guide only and does not lead to any decision with legal or similarly significant effects for you.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if the way we handle personal details changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
